Colour Riot

" Keep calm and add color to your life "

I know black and white are the go-to colors for most of you but its time to step out of your comfort zone, with new year comes new beginnings. I am an absolute lover of colors. I love wearing bright colors, it makes you standout in a crowd as people generally tend to wear safe colors like black, white or blue.

We went on a weekend trip for my mom's birthday to Hill Fort Kesroli, which is a beautiful little fort. I packed this skirt just in case the sun decides to shine and I got lucky. I had designed this skirt a long time back using raw silk and mirrors.

This post has two of my favorite things, color blocking and ethnic fusion. I color-blocked this skirt with a fuchsia sweater. Color blocking is a method of wearing multiple solid colors in an outfit. Pink and orange are one for my favorite colors for color blocking. I added silver accessories that complemented the mirrors on the skirt. I wore my silver waist belt that as a silver necklace.

And the location. Period.
