Forest Nymph

“She wakes in a puddle of sunlight.
Her hands asleep beside her.
Her hair draped on the lawn
like a mantle of cloth.”

Spring has magically appeared from nowhere like literally, it was a cold winter yesterday and today is a bright sunny morning. I am a spring baby, the weather is perfect and admist fluttering of butterflies  pretty wild flowers grow. Poetic much? Yes, spring does have that effect on me.

As you would have guessed already I am sucker for romantic fabrics ( anything in white and lace ) as seen herehere and here. This dress is the perfect dress for spring/summer as it looks like a crop top and skirt in the front and has an all lace back ( very spring inspired). I love the little peek-a-boo elements in this dress and the split back. This dress is super comfortable and fits like a glove.

I styled this dress with my beige gladiators for the bohemian look. I wore flowers in my hair and I was a happy child. This is a very versatile dress, pair it with heels and you are ready for a dinner party.

A lot like Love

"Love is friendship that has caught fire"
- Ann Landers

I am very excited about this post as this is the first decor post on Moda Yalda ( also the very first valentine's day post..yay).
If you want to do something different on this V-day, plan a beautiful brunch instead of going out.Choose your favorite spot in your home and get it ready for brunch with your girlfriends or your guy. Plan a menu, cook together and spend some quality time together.

This is one of the favorite corners of my home and this is how I got it v-day ready.
I got portable cane furniture and set it in the corner. I covered the table with lace table cloth to keep the theme romantic.
I added different cushions on the chair ( the heart one being my favorite).
Also I love the backdrop, the plants add a lot of color and freshness to the decor.

I put my favorite purple leaf plant in my mom's vintage tea pot and a succulent plant in front of the tea pot on the table.

Lastly add food color to your drinks. Here I added pink food color to sprite.

Whenever I have to go out, the first thing that comes to my mind is what will I wear. Hehe. I know the same happens with you. Pink, red and white are the colors for v-day. I decided to go for all pink look.
There is no secret to wearing monochromatic outfits as long as you have tops and bottoms in same color or different shades of the same color. Monochromatic outfits are really chic and easy to style and draw attention to accessories.
I am wearing a baby pink tie-dye tee with fuchsia DIY skirt. I kept the shoes and bag neutral and went with all gold accessories.
Monochromatic outfits make heads turn.
